ESE Lightning Arrester is a lightning protection device that provides protection against direct and indirect lightning strikes. It is designed to intercept lightning before it reaches the protected structure and redirect the energy to the ground. The ESE Lightning Arrester has a lightning rod that emits a streamer, which ionizes the surrounding air and creates a conductive path for the lightning to follow. ESE Lightning Arresters are Early Streamer Lightning Arresters with an inbuilt Ion generator. These Arresters provide protection over a wider area in comparison to Conventional lightning arresters. A single ESE Lightning Arrester easily replaces about 10 to 20 conventional lightning arresters depending upon the height of the structure and the geographical surroundings.

These arresters are installed at a minimum height of 5 meters from the highest point of the structure.

Our ESE Lightning Arresters are maintenance free and provide reliable protection over a much wider area in comparison to the other brands of ESE lightning arresters available in the market. These arresters are environmentally friendly and reliably work for years even in the most harsh, corrosive, acidic or coastal environments.

The Ion generator inside these arresters starts emitting positive ions, the moment it senses a storm or lightning in the nearby surroundings. These positive ions in the form a stream of positive ions starts rising towards the clouds to intercept the lightning occurring in the nearby vicinity. Once they encounter any lightning strike or current, they immediately ground it to the earth via an earthing strip connected between the ESE arrester and the Chemical earthing (installed in the ground), and protect the entire structure and all other equipment and lives coming within its protection envelope.
